Finally, the day arrived when we were schedule to go river tubing. After collecting our rentals, we headed to the start of the tubing. I takes about a hour to complete the tubing, ad 30 mis to walk back up to the start. there are some mild rapids, but nothing anyone over 10 should worry about. Most of the river is slow and relaxing.
We started at 10am ad ended at 1pm after two runs.
At 1:30 we departed for home.
Tips
If you are staying in the conservation area, there are holes it the fences that allow you to exit the conservation area, cross the highway bridge to the North side and back into the conservation area, allowing you to hike up one side, and back down the other side of the gorge.
The conservation area is’t the best for camping. We recommend staying in the town of Elora and driving to the tubing areas
